A case of Lymphatic Tumour (Lymphoma) and High Blood Pressure

Cheng Kim Cheung (From Hong Kong)   Occupation: Businessman

I had had high blood pressure since 2001 and needed to take 5mg of blood pressure pills twice a day. Fortunately, through a good friend’s recommendations, I took up the Taiji Five-Element Self Recovery Programme (TFSRP) in May 2002 at World Institute for Self Healing (Asia Pacific) Limited, hereinafter referred to as “WISH”, and started practising it every day. After 3 days of qi-gong fasting for the first time in July 2003, my blood pressure dropped to normal even without taking any medicine. I was very pleased that the qi-gong was so effective and we could all benefit from it!

Afterwards in the following few years, owing to my heavy workload, irregular working hours, and bad eating habits on the one hand, and my laziness in practising the qi-gong on the other, my high blood pressure had returned towards the end of 2005. So I had to take blood pressure regulating medicine to keep it under control again. In November 2006 I found a tumour on my neck, which was diagnosed to be a lymphatic tumour of 5.7cm in size. When I was about to have a biopsy, fortunately I received a message from WISH President Ms Chiu, advising me that: “Malignant tumours are like a beehive, the more you stir it up, the more it will spread. It is life-threatening after spreading.”

President Chiu’s words of caution alerted me. So I focused on practicing qi-gong intensely everyday instead. At that time, besides the lymphatic tumour, my blood pressure was also very high (upper and lower pressure readings were 170/110), and I also had high cholesterol and weak kidneys. With my life at stake, I decided to put down my work. Starting from December 2006, I had been spending 8-10 hours practising qi-gong in WISH.

At the end of January 2007, when I had my annual check-up provided by my insurance company, I found that my cholesterol level was already back to normal Even though my blood pressure was still on the high side, it had dropped somewhat. In February 2007, I underwent qi-gong fasting for the second time. This time I fasted for 17 days under the careful guidance of President Chiu and the instructors. As a result, my tumour had shrunk to one third of its size, and I had lost 25 pounds. My blood pressure was back to normal, and I did not need to take medicine any more. I am pleased to say that not only has the quality of my qi-gong practice been enhanced, my attitudes towards life have changed as well. Now I no longer value so much money, fame and material success. I can look at things calmly and am happy to enjoy a serene and natural life. Afterwards, I still insist on gong back to WISH to continue my qi-gong practice so as to reinforce my recovery on my journey to better health.

For the last year or so, because I have been practising qi-gong in WISH, I have come to know about a hundred or so participant friends, new and old. Among them, are patients with different types of chronic diseases such as diabetes, high cholesterol, high blood pressure, arthritis, insomnia and emotional illnesses, etc. All of them are able to make improvement on their health problems or even cure them within a short time, after intensive practice of the qi-gong. All of us concur that TFSRP is really effective. Furthermore, it is the only recovery method which does not require taking medicine, other than relying on one’s self-healing power and constant practice.

There are some participants who are terminal cancer patients, whose conditions are very serious, such as metastases of liver cancer, lung cancer, breast cancer, colon cancer, etc. I heard from them what painful experience they had gone through, from diagnosis to surgery, to rounds of radiotherapy and chemotherapy; how they were at their wit’s end, how devastated their body was; and how ghastly they looked by the time they came to WISH. It occurred to me that they were like having gone through a revolving door of hell, some might never be able to come out, and for those lucky ones who could come out of the revolving door, they do so with a wrecked physique, dashed hopes and depleted family fortunes. Fortunately they have found a key to practise TFSRP. Through a change of concepts, practising TFSRP and qi-gong fasting, they have recovered their health one by one. Seeing them being put back on the beautiful road of good health is already a good proof of the therapeutic effectiveness of TFSRP. It also proves that what Master He taught us — “Our lives are in our own hands” – is very true.

Mankind can activate their innate but yet abandoned immunity power, self-recovering power, and regenerating power to fight against illnesses and to regain the control of their health through practicing qi-gong. Compared with the other participants, I feel that I am already very lucky. I have shaken off the nightmares of surgery, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, and have chosen to practice TFSRP to address my illness. Now I will treat the remaining small tumour on my neck with positive attitudes, and it will not affect my health. I firmly believe that I have found a way of maintaining a healthy life which is under my control.

At the time of writing this article, I am already close to the end of my qi-gong fasting for the third time. This round I have fasted for 30 days, entering into a natural fasting state. On the sixth day of my qi-gong fasting, I have totally forgotten my illnesses. I have no intention to achieve any outcomes. I just want to keep practising. In the last 10 days, I have been feeling very sprightly, and my physical conditions are now even better than 20 days ago. At this moment I feel that I am full of energy, but yet relaxed; and I feel very much myself, like any other person.

Finally, I find that I no longer need to get up in the middle of the night several times to relief myself. What’s more, my hair stylist said I have grown more hair at my forehead. I think it must have been due to the improvement and strengthening of my kidney functions. This is another unexpected “gain”! Indeed, one does not have to look everywhere for a good doctor, as the good doctor is just within us. I have come to realize the wonders of this qi-gong, which are essentially, “Practise doing nothing deliberate, and there is nothing that cannot be cured/managed”
